Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancelling your subscription

There are no long-term contracts, lock-in periods, or cancellation penalties. You can cancel at any time:

• Client Portal: Go to the Billing tab at sazm.in/app to manage or cancel your subscription with one click.
• PayPal Subscriptions: Cancel directly from your PayPal account dashboard (Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments), or email billing@sazm.in and I will cancel it for you.

Upon cancellation, work continues through the remainder of the billing cycle you have already paid for. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all code and deliverables completed up to that point.

2. Pausing instead of cancelling

If you experience a temporary lull in development needs or are awaiting external design reviews, pause your subscription from the Billing tab in your portal. Unused days in your current 30-day billing cycle are banked to your account and automatically credited when you resume, ensuring zero lost engineering value.

3. Refund eligibility

• Fixed-Price Fixes (within 48 hours): Fixed-price emergency and speed fixes are covered by a 100% money-back guarantee if the agreed root cause cannot be fixed or resolved.
• Founding Cohort (nothing upfront): Founding-cohort fixes are invoiced only after you verify the fix on staging, so there is nothing to refund if the fix is not accepted.
• WordPress Care Plan: Billed monthly ($49/month) with no contracts; you may cancel anytime before your next billing date directly from your portal or by emailing billing@sazm.in.
• Monthly Plans: Because engineering capacity is reserved and work is delivered on a continuous monthly basis (with the freedom to pause anytime), payments for periods already started are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.
• First-Week Guarantee: If you cancel within seven (7) calendar days of your initial subscription payment and no development work has been delivered, you will receive a full 100% refund.
• Billing Discrepancies: In the rare event of an administrative or billing error (such as an inadvertent duplicate charge or an automated renewal processed after confirmed cancellation), your payment will be refunded immediately in full.
• Provider Termination: If SazM terminates your subscription for reasons other than a material breach of the Terms of Service, any unused prepaid portion of the billing period will be refunded pro-rata.
• Fixed-Quote Milestone Builds: For one-off scoped projects, deliverables are tied to defined technical acceptance criteria. If SazM is unable to fulfill the agreed specifications for a milestone, the corresponding milestone fee will be refunded.

4. Processing refunds

To request a refund, email billing@sazm.in using the email address associated with your subscription, specifying your invoice reference. Approved refunds are initiated back to the original payment method (PayPal) within 5 to 7 business days; posting times depend on your card issuer or banking institution.
